- Bibliographic metadata and abstract only; full methods not verified
Independent analysis
This is comparative nonrandomized evidence, not a randomized effectiveness trial. The 59-patient MP1000 subgroup must be distinguished from the overall cohort. Patient selection, platform assignment and operator experience may influence the apparent similarity of short-term outcomes.
Study sample
261 patients in three platform groups; 59 in the EDGE MP1000 group.
Measured outcomes
The verified abstract reports no significant MP1000-versus-control subgroup differences and no grade ≥3 complications in any group. Measures included conversion, margins, warm ischemia, renal function and early continence. Pooled results for multiple platforms must not be attributed to MP1000 alone.
Limitations
Nonrandom allocation, single center and multiple procedure/platform subgroups. Verification covers metadata and abstract, not complete methods.
