Independent analysis
The series suggests reconstructive feasibility in a selected setting. It does not demonstrate comparative effectiveness or durable patency. Different reconstructive operations should not be treated as one uniform indication, and results require longer follow-up.
Study sample
20 patients; one surgeon; prospective single-arm study.
Measured outcomes
No conversions and short-term success in 20/20 patients were reported. No Clavien–Dindo ≥III complications; mean operating time 189.1 minutes and blood loss 58.5 mL. Follow-up was three months.
Limitations
Small uncontrolled expert-surgeon series with mixed reconstructive procedures and short follow-up. Inconsistent ergonomics scores are omitted.
